Granite Seed & Erosion Control - Utah

Very difficult to provide a review because the seed is amazing and we’ve had great lawn but their front desk lady leaves MUCH to be desired. If I was reviewing her she’d get half a Star. Doing her job is quite an inconvenience for her, clearly. If I’m reviewing the seed it would be five stars so take your pick.

We've been using this company for years, but unfortunately will need to find a new seed supplier after an experience with a very RUDE woman answering phone 2 days ago. We called to ask some basic questions and she couldn't have been less interested in helping and acted as though my questions were dumb. I can't say I was surprised to see many other reviews about rude employees.

I don’t get all the negative comments on rude employees that is posted on Google by others because I have a completely opposite experience. I’ve purchased seeds for a backyard project. I ran out of seed twice and purchased 3 times from Granite seed. Great Customer service, helpful, and friendly service. I wanted an alternative to grass and less watering so I decided to go with what we used in Hawaii which is Clover. Product was good quality. So far so good. Clover lawn came in pretty good. Just bought some more just to cover some bald areas.

I went to go grab simply a couple of bags of seed to finish up little projects in our yard before it's too late to do so. I don't go into a seed store having high expectations of great customer service. I just expected a quick exchange and leave with some seed for our yard. What I received today was deplorable. Ruby was at the front desk and from the moment I walked in she treated me completely poorly. This has left me shaken and completely bewildered at how poorly I was treated for simply going into a seed store. I have never received such treatment and Granite Seed really needs to look into who they are hiring to work with customers. I have let others know that it's best to go somewhere else to not have to go through something so upsetting.

This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've had consistently for over 2 years now and I'm good and ready to stop ordering seed from them for our business. They are rude literally 100% of the time, always treat you like you're asking stupid questions, and don't offer additional help of any kind. We were trying to use them because we prefer to use local companies, but I've had quite enough.
